Professor Md. Taher Billal Khalifa Ph D
Professor Md. Taher Billal Khalifa PhD is currently working for a private university named Metropolitan University, Sylhet as a Dean under School of Business & Economics. He has been in teaching profession over the last 22 years that includes a 4-year academic teaching in different foreign universities and, this really enriched Mr. Khalifa’s academic domain and bearing. He earned his PhD in Accounting from the University of Chittagong over the period 2000-2004 and, before that he of course completed his M.Com & B.Com (H) in Accounting from the same. His area of research interests span around Cost Accounting, Management Accounting, Business Education and other multidisciplinary areas. Having a number of publications, Mr. Khalifa also contributes as a peer reviewer for the acclaimed journals. His articles published in many journals got the astounding average citation of 37.67 (last updated on 15 Feb’18) with the researcher ID A-5564-2010. He still assumes the responsibility of the Examiner and External Evaluator in PhD and MBA Program in University of Malaya, Malaysia. And, not to mention, Mr. Khalifa has graced more than 100 conferences both on national & international settings while attending numerous workshop and research training at home and abroad. In addition to his academic stuff, Mr. Khalifa is a pure family man too. One of his daughters recently claimed a prestigious award on a national contest dubbed ‘Banglabid’. He dreams to have a bright future for Bangladesh where his students will take the lead by providing the business intelligence at the core of every good deed, indeed.
