Md. Alaul Haque
Md. Alaul Haque is currently working as an Associate Professor (Accounting and Information Systems) at the Department of Business Administration in Metropolitan University. Earlier from 12th September, 2015 to 11th September 2017 he worked as a Lecturer, September 12, 2017 to February 28, 2020 as a Senior Lecturer and from 1st March, 2020 to 9th March, 2024 as an Assistant Professor (Accounting and Information Systems) at the Department of Business Administration in Metropolitan University. He has been in teaching profession over the last 9 years or so. Mr. Haque is always very active persons of Curricular, Co-Curricular and extra-Curricular activities of this University. Now at present, Mr. Haque performs his duty in Metropolitan University Accounting Association as a President over 5 years and earlier he was the Treasurer of first committee of MU AIS Association (MUAA). Mr. Haque is a running President of MU E-Business Club (MUEC) and earlier he was the Treasurer of Metropolitan University e-Business Club also. He also performs his duty as a Treasurer of Metropolitan University Social Services Club (MUSSC). Mr. Haque is a member of curriculum committee and Exam Coordinator (Supplementary) of Department of Business Administration. He was born in Rajbari District of Bangladesh in 18th December, 1989. He is only one child of his parent. His father name is Md. Abdur Rob and his mother name is Hajera Begum. He is always positive attitude to his responsibility and a friendly mentality with smiling face. He also has a good leading skill, convincing and influencing power. Recently, Mr. Haque pursue an MPhil degree from the Department of Business Administration in Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST). The title of Mr. Haque's thesis is " Effect of Corporate Governance on Capital Structure Decision: An Empirical Study on Textile Sector of Bangladesh". Earlier Mr. Haque achieved his Graduation, Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) and Post Graduation, Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Accounting and Information Systems from the Department of Accounting and Information Systems in the University of Rajshahi. Earlier he completed his Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) in Business Studies Group from Machpara College and Secondary School Certificate (SSC) in Science Group from Machpara High School. Mr. Alaul Haque is a Funder and Manager of the “Folimara Bangabandhu Somobai Samite.” He also a Funder Manager of “Folimara and Vagbishnopur Boys Somobay Samite.” Mr. Haque is a Life member of Rajshahi University Accounting Alumni Association (RUAAA) and he was also a Member of BFDF in University of Rajshahi. He was a member of voluntary blood donor organization named “Badhon” in University of Rajshahi. His area of interest regarding research is Accounting, Corporate Governance, Finance, Banking and Social Science.
