Abu Jafar Md Jakaria

Abu Jafar Md Jakaria is currently serving as a Lecturer in the Computer Science and Engineering department at Metropolitan University, where he passionately shares his rich experience from the tech industry to inspire and educate his students. His teaching focuses on guiding students through hands-on research and innovative learning methods, preparing them to tackle real-world challenges. In the tech industry, Jakaria founded two startups: ShohozDeal Ltd. and DesnDev Tech. At ShohozDeal, he managed a team of over 60 employees, gaining significant leadership and operational management experience. His role at DesnDev Tech as both founder and Lead Software Engineer allowed him to stay at the forefront of technological advancements, which he integrates into his teaching to provide practical insights into programming and development. Currently, Jakaria is actively involved in building projects with his students and conducting research, further bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application in the field of computer science.
