Ruma Das
Ruma Das is a Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Metropolitan University, Sylhet. She has graduated in Physics from Shahjalal University of Science and Technology. With a strong academic background, she began teaching in 2019 as a Teaching Assistant at Illinois Institute of Technology, USA. Returning to Bangladesh, she joined at Leading University, Sylhet as an Adjunct Lecturer in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering. Ruma completed her Master's thesis in Nonlinear Optics and has research interests in Nuclear Physics, Nonlinear Optics, and High-Energy Physics. She has participated in numerous conferences in Bangladesh and India. She is a passionate teacher who always strives to empower students.

Volunteer at ‘Paani Foundation’, Maharashtra, India, which aims to fight drought in Maharashtra. Well trained (for 5 years) in traditional and classical music.
