Sakhawat Hossain Saimon

Having completed his B.Sc. from Shahjalal University of Science and Technology, Sakhawat Hossain joined at Metropolitan University as a Teaching Assistant. Employed since September 2016, he is now a Lecturer and tasked with various departmental duties such as final year project management. Living in Dhaka for twenty years, he came to Sylhet for seeking a degree in Computer Science and has never left since, thanks to the scarcity of traffic gridlocks and waterlogged streets. Prior to starting a career in teaching, Sakhawat has been involved in freelance graphic design and software development, problem solving and gaming. His major research interests include Bioinformatics, Machine Learning and Data Science. He has a passion for computer games.
