Nourush Jahan

Nourush Jahan is a Lecturer in the Department of Economics, bringing a wealth of academic expertise to her role. She earned both her bachelor's and master's degrees in Economics from Shahjalal University of Science and Technology, Sylhet, where she graduated with distinction in both programs. Prior to her current position, Nourush served as a Research Assistant in the Department of Economics for a duration of one year. With a strong passion for research, Nourush's interests span across various areas of Economics, including Macroeconomics, Energy Economics, and Development Economics. Her commitment to academic excellence is evident in her academic achievements and ongoing scholarly pursuits. Outside of her academic endeavors, Nourush actively engaged in social and voluntary activities during her student years, demonstrating a commitment to community service and leadership. Notably, she served as the Head Teacher of KIN, a renowned voluntary organization associated with SUST, where she made significant contributions to its mission and objectives.
