Dr. Muntaha Rakib is a Professor (Department of Economics) at Shahjalal University of Science and Technology. Currently resides in Sylhet. Dr. Muntaha holds MSS and BSS in Economics from Shahjalal University of Science and Technology, Sylhet in the year 2004 and 2005 respectively. Dr. Muntaha is awarded Ph.D (2015) in Agricultural Economics from University of Bonn. Despite a woman Dr. Muntaha Has overcame a very challenging overseas Ph.D degree from a well reputed university in Germany. Dr. Muntaha is friendly and cooperative with her stakeholders. Dr. Muntaha always does Gardening and travelling in her leisure period. Dr. Muntaha is best known for Agricultural Economist among the professionals. Dr. Muntaha has high interest on doing research on agricultural economics climate change and adaptation, intra-household analysis, Gender, Poverty analysis etc.
