Mahim Ahmed
Mr. Mahim Ahmed is a dedicated Lecturer in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Metropolitan University, Sylhet. Since August 2023, he has been imparting his knowledge in various theory and laboratory courses, including Power Electronics, Control Systems, and Microprocessor and Computer Interfacing. He holds a B.Sc. in Electrical & Electronic Engineering from Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST), Bangladesh. He completed his Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSC) Examination at Jalalabad Cantonment Public School & College, Sylhet, Bangladesh, and his Secondary School Certificate (SSC) Examination at Gangkul Panchagram Adarsha High School, Sylhet, Bangladesh, both were completed with a GPA of 5.00/5.00. Mr. Mahim has actively participated in several research projects focusing on the integration of renewable energy sources and smart grid technologies. Notably, he worked on a project developing a smart energy storage scheme for pico-grid environments and his undergraduate thesis on intelligent energy management for electric vehicles. His contributions have been recognized at international conferences, including the presentation of his work at the IEEE International Conference on Energy Technologies for Future Grids (ETFG) in 2023. He has also gained experience as a Research Assistant at the SUST Research Center and as an Industrial Trainee at the Training Institute of Chemical Industries (TICI), Narsingdi, Dhaka, Bangladesh.
