Anik Biswas

Associate Professor and Acting Dean, School of Humanities & Social Sciences

Anik Biswas is an academic administrator. He is an Associate professor of English at Metropolitan University, Sylhet, Bangladesh who has been serving at this university since 2012. He served as the Chairman of the department from 16 October 2017 to 30 June 2023. Biswas has over 15 years of experience in teaching and previously taught at Sylhet Engineering College and Blue-Bird School and College. He has some significant journal articles and book chapters to his credit. He is the editor of the Newsletter of Metropolitan University. Besides, he serves as the Editorial Assistant of Metropolitan University Journal. His research interests include ‘literature and films’, ‘translation studies’, ‘cultural studies’, and ‘theories in literature’.
