Snigdha Das

Snigdha Das is an Assistant Professor of English in Metropolitan University. She received her graduation and post-graduation in English from Shahjalal University of Science and Technology, Sylhet. Eventually, she engaged herself in teaching first at a college and then at Metropolitan University, Sylhet. She would like to think on absurd literature and engage herself in further research on the world of absurdity human beings live in. Das develops her passion in reading postmodern facets of human lives reflected in different literary pieces. She is also fervent to know the crises of wars and human beings’ exertion to survive and live a meaningful life. In addition to teaching, Das engages herself in writing research articles on her chosen fields. She is the daughter of Shuvrendu Das and Purabi Das, coming from a humble origin. She currently resides in Sylhet with her husband and two daughters in an extended family.
