Syeda Nazmur Siha Muna
I am Syeda Nazmur Siha Muna working as a Lecturer at the Department of Law and Justice at Metropolitan University, Sylhet. As a person, I always wanted to give effect to the accumulation of my aspirations, academic experiences, sources of encouragement and years of efforts in the field of educational and social development. My academic journey started with my Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the International Programmes of University of London. I previously worked as a legal associate of Barrister Tasmia Prodhan and Associates situated at the Honourable Supreme Court of Bangladesh. Later on, I pursued my Master of laws in International Laws from Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP).Continuing my studies, I embarked on social development activities. I was a trainee of Bangladesh Youth Leadership Center (BYLC). To explore the multitude of creativity, innovation and entrepreneurship, I was awarded a partial scholarship and given a chance to pursue a specialised course on this particular area from Watson Institute, Colorado, USA. I have experience of working in Bangladesh Betar as a reciter in my student life. For my passion for writing features and articles, I work as a contributing writer to the Daily Observer, Dhaka Tribune, Dhaka Courier and UNB. In order to attain efficiency on the ground of ‘Taxation Laws’ of Bangladesh and ‘Islamic Laws of Inheritance’, I have completed a ‘Professional Practitioner’s Course on Income Tax’ by the Success Law Academy and ‘Practice Course on Succession Laws’ by Professor. Dr. Ekramul Haque Sir respectively. I am very passionate about Public Speaking, Debate & Parliamentary Debate. I had several opportunities to adjudicate Parliamentary Debate Sessions. In 2017,I founded a venture named, ‘Posse-ability’ with the supervision of the American Center of the U.S Embassy, Dhaka to help people suffering from Specific Learning Disorder With a view to creating social awareness. Working on this ground has given me an opportunity to represent my project and my country at the Impact Hub, Florida and at the Watson Summit at Naropa University in Boulder, Colorado.

Achievements and Awards
1. Divisional Champion - Bangladesh Mathematical Olympiad, 2007. 2. Became Champion and the ‘Best Speaker’ repeatedly for the fifth time at the InterCantonment Colleges Annual Debate Competitions. 3. Special Mention at Bangladesh International Model United Nations. 4. The opportunity to present my project proposal at the Social Business Youth Alliance Bangladesh in front of Professor Dr. Mohammad Yunus and the Opportunity to pitch at The Impact Hub, Florida, U.S.A. 5. Exhibition of my Arts at and Art Exhibition in regard of Nojrul Joyonti organised by ‘Sylhet Jella Shilpokola Academy’. 6. In the year 2017, I applied to the Watson Institute, Colorado, USA to pursue an Additional Qualification Course to develop my horizon of knowledge in the field of Entrepreneurship. 7.
