Admission Requirements

The Department of Software Engineering (under the School of Science & Technology) evaluates entry requirements each semester. Students who have passed Higher Secondary level or equivalent may apply if they fulfill the following criteria:

National Curriculum (SSC/HSC)

  • • Science group or equivalent with a minimum GPA 2.5 in both SSC & HSC.
  • • Minimum GPA 2.00 in either, provided the total is at least GPA 6.00.
  • ⚠️ Must have Physics & Mathematics background

GCE / International

  • • O Level: 5 different subjects with minimum Grade C.
  • • A Level / IAL: 2 different subjects with minimum Grade C.
  • • Equivalent international certifications are also considered.

Admission Procedure

Eligible candidates must sit for a 1-hour MCQ admission test.

• Candidates are allowed to sit for the test after document verification.

• A merit list is prepared based on total marks obtained or specific subject performance.

• Qualified students are processed via the Office of the Registrar through student management software.
