- Over twenty years of practical experience in commercial banking.
- Former Chairman of the Board of Directors and Sponsor Director of a leading private commercial bank.

Dr. Chowdhury is an extensive traveler and a researcher by choice. He is the author of Bangladesh in Perspective: The Political Economy of Corruption, a work that has been adopted by universities across Bangladesh as a textbook on governance and public policy.
A visionary by nature, he currently serves as the Chairman Emeritus. Under his stewardship, the institution continues to progress toward its long-term mission with strategic clarity and strong ethical foundations.
