Admission Requirements: B.A. (Hons.) in English

Admission is open to students for the B.A. (Hons.) in English program based on the following criteria:

National Curriculum (SSC/HSC)

  • • At least two 2nd divisions or minimum GPA 2.5 in each (5.00 scale).
  • • Minimum GPA 2.00 in either SSC or HSC, with a total GPA 6.00.
  • Freedom Fighter Category:
    Children of Freedom Fighters with a total GPA 5.0 in both SSC and HSC may apply (Certificate required).

GCE & International

  • • Minimum 05 subjects in O level and 02 subjects in A level required.
  • • Grading: Grade B (GPA 4.0) in 4 subjects and Grade C (GPA 3.5) in remaining 3 subjects.
  • Scale: A=5, B=4, C=3, D=2, E=1
  • GED Students: At least 410 marks out of 800 in all 5 courses with an average of 450 marks.

Postgraduate Admission: M.A. in English

FINAL M.A. in English (Final)
Minimum eligibility:
  • Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in English
  • M.A. in English (Preliminary) or equivalent
PRELIM M.A. in English (Pre. & Final)
Minimum eligibility:
  • Bachelor degree in any field (Business, Eng., Agri., Medicine, etc.)
  • Attainment of at least 5 (Five) points

Admission Procedure
