Programme Summary
Masters of Arts (Final) in English is the highest degree the department of English at present offers. The programme is framed to serve the needs of the students facilitating a wide choice of profession. A degree of Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in English or successful completion (carrying minimum 40% marks) of Masters of Arts (Preliminary) in English enables one to go for Masters of Arts (Final) in English. The programme concentrates on American Literature, 20th Century English Literature, Post Colonial Literature, English for Communication, ELT, Research Methodology etc.
